a-r-t-forms is an art consultancy that brings art into the built environment, both public & private realms, as well as landscapes and virtual worlds.

We assist our clients with their projects at all stages from inception to installation.

Veronika Schmid

Veronika is a trained architect and has worked in world renowned architecture and yacht design offices (Richard Meier, Advanced Geometry Unit at ARUP with Cecil Balmond, Francisdesign, etc.) for 15+ years before relocating and establishing Gill Schmid Design and a-r-t-forms in NYC.

She has served as a professor at some of the most prestigious international architecture schools, such as the Architectural Association in London, Columbia University, Harvard University, UPenn, RISD and others.

She has been collaborating with world renowned artists on the design, manufacturing, and project management of art work since 2001. Primarily, Veronika has been closely working with Frank Stella on all his sculptural, architectural, and digital works since 2001.

 

 

Alistair Gill

Alistair is a trained architect and has worked in world renowned architecture and yacht design offices for 15+ years before relocating and establishing Gill Schmid Design and a-r-t-forms in NYC.

He has served as a professor at some of the most prestigious international architecture schools, including the Architectural Association in London and Columbia University (NYC), UPenn, RISD and others.
